BAKU, 13 June (BelTA) – Viktor Sosunovsky of Belarus won the 80kgs Greaco-Roman Wrestling bronze at the ongoing 1^st European Games in Baku. The Belarusian came through the repechage where he beat Ukraine’s Alexander Shishman to bring the second European Games medal Belarus, BelTA informs.

Another bronze was claimed by Bulgaria’s Daniel Aleksandrov.

Belarus’ Viktor Sosunovsky started his way to the podium with the win over Georgia’s Lasha Gobadze. He then defeated Florian Neumaier of Germany. In the semifinal Viktor Sosunovsky lost to Russia’s Yevgeny Saleyev who later claimed the champion title in the 80kg category.
