MINSK, 28 June (BelTA) – The delegation of Vietnam accompanying Vietnam President Tran Dai Quang on his official visit to Belarus visited the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War on 28 June, BelTA informs.
The visitors viewed the museum’s exposition, learned about the feat of the Belarusian people during the war.
Vietnam President Tran Dai Quang arrived in Minsk on 26 June. He met with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko. The two leaders took part in the opening of the Belarusian-Vietnamese business forum. Tran Dai Quang also held negotiations with Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov and Chairman of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko.
The diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on 24 January 1992. The legal framework now comprises more than 60 agreements, including interstate, intergovernmental, and interagency ones.
