MINSK, 14 September (BelTA) – Belarusian Victoria Azarenka has moved up to the 14th place in the new WTA rankings, BelTA has learned.
Ahead of the 2020 US Open, the former world No.1 was 27th in the global rankings, but after making it into the US Open finals, she rose 13 positions up, scoring 3,122 points. Aryna Sabalenka with 3,615 is 12th. Aliaksandra Sasnovich placed 95th with 738 points, Olga Govortsova – 126th with 570 points, and Vera Lapko – 289th with 207points.
The top ten players, according to the current WTA rankings, are as follows:
