MINSK, 24 October (BelTA) – Vasily Kiriyenko has won the Chrono des Nations Men’s Time Trial in France, BelTA has learned.

One of the best Belarusian cyclists, a member of Skyteam, covered the 51km distance in 1:04.08. Vasily Kiriyenko surpassed Spain’s Jonathan Castroviejo by five seconds. Martin Toft Madsen of Denmark finished third (59 seconds behind the winner).

The Belarusian cyclist was the Chrono des Nations Time Trial winner in 2015. Vasily Kiriyenko finished second in the men’s individual time trial at the UCI Road World Championships 2016 in Doha.
