MINSK, 26 May (BelTA) – Belarus’ Andrei Vasilevski and Israel’s Jonathan Erlich have advanced to the men’s doubles semifinal at the Begrade Open in Serbia, BelTA has learned.
In the quarterfinal on 25 May the Belarusian-Israeli duo proved stronger over Luis David Martinez of Venezuela and Sander Arends of the Netherlands 6-3, 0-6, 10-6 in an hour and five minutes.
In the first round Andrei Vasilevski and Jonathan Erlich saw off Argentina’s Andres Molteni and Frederik Nielsen of Denmark 6-4, 4-6, 10-3.
In the men’s singles round of Last 32 Belarusian world number 78 Egor Gerasimov lost to Germany’s world number 253 Mats Moraing 6-4, 6-7 (7-9), 5-7.
The ATP 250 clay-court event in the Serbian capital will be over on 29 May.
