MINSK, 6 April (BelTA) – Soloist of the National Academic Orchestra of Symphonic and Popular Music of Belarus Valeriya Gribusova will represent Belarus and the 24th edition of the international singing competition Vitebsk 2015. The decision was taken by the professional jury after the selection run, BelTA learnt from the Culture Ministry of Belarus.
The participants sang two compositions each: a song in the native language and world and Slavonic hits.
Two young starlets, 11-year-old Yelena Titova of Mogilev and 9-year-old Stefaniya Sokolova of Minsk will perform at the 13th international children’s music contest Vitebsk 2015.
The 24th edition of the international festival of arts Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk will be held on 9-13 July. Additional events will be held on 7-8 and 14-15 July.
