MINSK, 30 June (BelTA) – The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the Belarusian National Bar Association with financial support of the UK government are launching a series of webinars for parents and their children on juvenile justice and family relations, BelTA learned from the United Nations Children's Fund Belarus Office.
The first webinar will take place on 1 July and will discuss amnesty for juvenile delinquents. The online session will be administered by professional lawyers. The experts will discuss whom the 2020 amnesty can be granted.
Subsequent webinars will be dedicated to the enforcement of amnesty (procedures and legal assistance), protection of rights and legal interests of minors in administrative and criminal cases, provision of legal assistance to children who fell victim to violence (including human trafficking), enforcement of court rulings affecting the interests of minors, as well as child support in a divorce and alternative ways to resolve disputes (family mediation).
