MINSK, 18 April (BelTA) – Two Belarusian universities have made it to the Round University Ranking, BelTA has learned.
These are Belarusian State University (its ranking was revised upwards from 706th in 2018 to 630th in 2019). The National Institute for Higher Education is ranked 741st, while a year ago it stood at 731st.
At the very top of this year’s ranking are Harvard University, California Institute of Technology and Imperial College London.
The Round University Ranking (RUR Ranking) is a world university ranking based on 20 indicators distributed among 4 key dimension areas: teaching, research, international diversity, financial sustainability. The raw data for RUR Ranking is provided by Global Institutional Profiles Project (GIPP) and Web of Science. The RUR Ranking was launched in 2010 and is compiled by a Russian rating agency.
