TOKYO, 9 August (BelTA) – Volha Mazuronak of Belarus clocked 2:29.06 to place 5th in the Women’s Marathon at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics on 7 August, BelTA has learned.
Peres Jepchirchir of Kenya won the event in 2:27.20. Silver went to her teammate Brigid Kosgei (2:27.36). Molly Seidel of the United States clinched bronze (2:27.46).
Nina Savina of Belarus finished 50th in 2:38.41.
