TOKYO, 28 July (BelTA) – Belarus’ Hanna Marusava was off to a good start in the Archery Women's Individual at Tokyo 2020, BelTA has learned.
She defeated the famous German archer Lisa Unruh 6-4 in the 1/32 eliminations and eased past Azusa Yamauchi of Japan 6-0 in the 1/16 eliminations.
In the Women's Individual 1/32 Eliminations scheduled for 29 July, Belarusian archer Karyna Dziominskaya will take on Diya Siddique of Bangladesh, while another Belarusian archer Karyna Kazlouskaya will face Alejandra Valencia of Mexico.
Earlier the Belarusian team of Karyna Kazlouskaya, Hanna Marusava and Karyna Dziominskaya lost 1-5 to German in the bronze-medal match and placed fourth.
