MINSK, 4 September (BelTA) – Belarus won three medals at the FIG World Challenge Cup 2017 which finished in Varna, Bulgaria, BelTA has learned.

Pavel Bulavsky and Ilya Yakovlev of Belarus graced the podium in the vaulting event. Pavel Bulavsky clinched silver with the total of 14,625 points. Ilya Yakovlev finished third with 14,300 points. London Olympics medalist Igor Radivilov of Ukraine scored 15,000 points to win the event.

Earlier, Andrei Likhovitsky placed first in the pommel horse.

The 2017 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships will be held in Montreal, Canada on 2-8 October.
