MINSK, 19 August (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes won three bronze medals at the 2019 World Junior Wrestling Championship in Tallinn, Estonia, BelTA has learned.
Maksim Bandarenka placed third in the 82kg event after defeating an athlete from Iran. The second bronze went to Turkey. Hungary won the event, with silver going to Russia.
Uladzislau Pustashylau claimed bronze in the 97kg event alongside with the Turkish wrestler. Gold was collected by an athlete from Cuba. Silver went to Germany.
Ihar Yarashevich clinched bronze in the 87kg event.
