Three MAZ-SPORTauto crews off to Turkmenistan for Turkmen Desert Race 2018

MINSK, 7 September (BelTA) – Three MAZ-SPORTauto crews have gone to Turkmenistan to take part in the Turkmen Desert Race 2018, BelTA learned from the team’s press service.

The crews of Sergei Vyazovich, Aleksei Vishnevsky and Alexander Vasilevsky are experienced racers and are favorites of the forthcoming competitions.

The Turkmen Desert Race Amul Hazar 2018 will kick off in Turkmenabat on 11 September and will complete near the Caspian Sea in Avaza on 15 September. The route is 1,158km long. The race will go through the Karakum desert.

The competitions are held on the initiative and under the auspices of Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow.
