Three Belarusian higher education institutions have made it to Round University Rankings (RUR), BelTA has learned.
Belarusian State University is ranked 706th, the National Institute of Higher Education is 731st, and Belarusian State Medical University is 772nd. The top 3 universities are Harvard University, the University of Chicago, and the California Institute of Technology.
Belarusian State University was ranked 18th by the number of international co-authored papers. “This criterion reflects the number of academic papers published together with foreign co-authors and shows that Belarusian State University is closely involved in international research teams as it implements relevant scientific projects, including the Large Hadron Collider project,” the university’s press service emphasized.
Round University Ranking (RUR) is a world university ranking, which measures performance of the world’s 930 leading universities by 20 indicators across 4 key missions: teaching, research, international diversity and financial sustainability.
This year, 783 universities from 74 countries took part in the ranking. The ranking is published by RUR Rankings Agency.
