PYEONGCHANG, 15 February (BelTA) - Sweden’s Hanna Oeberg won the Women’s 15K Individual at the 2018 Olympics in PyeongChang on 15 February, BelTA has learned.
Clean-shooting Hanna Oeberg clocked 41:07.2 to claim the champion title. Anastasiya Kuzmina of Slovakia finished second, 24.7 back, with two penalties. Bronze went to Germany’s Laura Dahlmeier, 41.2 seconds, one penalty.
Nadezhda Skardino of Belarus came in 10th, 2:33.0 behind the winner, with one penalty. Darya Domracheva led after the first two shooting ranges before missing four times to finish 27th, 3:50.6 behind the winner.
Irina Krivko was 36th, 4:18.8 back, three penalties. Dinara Alimbekova finished 56th, 5:56.8 back, four penalties.
The Men’s 20K Individual will feature four Belarusian athletes: Vladimir Chepelin, Roman Yeletnov, Sergei Bocharnikov and Maksim Vorobei.
