PYEONGCHANG, 22 February (BelTA) – Andre Myhrer of Sweden claimed the champion title in the Men’s Slalom at the 2018 Olympic Games in South Korea. Belarus’ Yuri Danilochkin placed 33rd, BelTA informs.
The winner clocked 1:38.99 to take gold. Silver went to Ramon Zenhaeusern of Switzerland, 0.34 seconds back. Third was Michael Matt of Austria, 0.67 seconds back.
Henrik Kristoffersen of Norway, who led after Run 1, failed to finish in Run 2. Two-time 2018 Olympic champion Marcel Hirscher of Austria did not finish either.
Yuri Danilochkin of Belarus placed 33rd, 13.16 seconds behind the winner.
