MINSK, 30 October (BelTA) – Citizens of Belarus are allowed to enter Belarus, BelTA learned from Anton Bychkovsky, the Spokesman of the State Border Committee of Belarus.
“Belarusian nationals are allowed to arrive in Belarus. Decisions on other groups of travelers are made on a case-by-case basis. Such is the situation on the border,” Anton Bychkovsky said.
A reminder, due to the current epidemic situation in the neighboring countries, on 29 October Belarus temporarily restricted entry into the country for several categories of persons coming from Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and Ukraine via ground border checkpoints.
The restrictions do not apply to personnel of diplomatic missions and consular institutions, who have diplomatic passports and service passports. The restrictions do not apply to drivers of vehicles, which are designed for international transportation by road, and to personnel of international trains.
The border checkpoint in Minsk National Airport operates without the abovementioned restrictions.
