Melitina Staniouta was second best in the Ball routine scoring a total of 18,250 points. Yana Kudryavtseva of Russia collected 19,100 points to take gold. Yekaterina Galkina of Belarus was 8th with 16,700 points.
Melitina Staniouta clinched bronze medals in the Loop event (18,000 points) and the Ribbon routine (17,800). Yekaterina Galkina was fifth in the Loop event (17,700) and 8th in the Ribbon routine (16,550). Russia’s Yana Kudryavtseva topped the podium in both events.
In the individual All-Around event Melitina Staniouta was fifth with the total of 72,500. Yekaterina Galkina finished 7th (70,250). Russia’s Yana Kudryavtseva triumphed with the total of 72,950.
The Belarusian national team claimed Two Loops/Six Clubs silver. Gold went to Italy.
In the group All-Around event Belarus was fourth with the total of 33,900 points. Gracing the podium was Russia (gold; 35,800 points), Italy (silver; 34,450), Spain (bronze; 34,150).
Anna Bozhko and Yelena Bolotina won four silver medals at the international junior competitions Citta di Pesaro. The Belarusian team of Anastasia Rybakova, Alina Gornosko, Alexandra Solodukha, Anna Shvaiba, Karina Yermolenko and Margarita Ovadinskaya finished third in the Five Balls event.
The next legs of the World Cup will be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in May, Budapest, Hungary, Sofia, Bulgaria and Kazan, Russia in August 2015.
