MINSK, 3 December (BelTA) – Nadezhda Skardino of Belarus finished 6th in the women’s 15K individual in Ostersund, Sweden on 3 December, BelTA informs.
Italy's Dorothea Wierer claim her first career win in 42:17. Second place went to Marie Dorin Habert of France with two penalties, 14.1 seconds back. Olena Pidhrushna of Ukraine claimed third, 37.8 seconds back.
Clean-shooting Nadezhda Skardino was 1:04.1 behind the winner. Anastasia Duborezova, who also shot clean, finished 12th, Irina Krivko was 22nd, Nadezhda Pisareva 50th and Darya Yurkevich with five penalties went 59th in the final protocol. Belarus’ debutant Kristina Ilchenko was 69th.
Last season Nadezhda Skardino finished 4th in the women’s 15K individual in Ostersund.
BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon 1 will continue with the men’s 10K and women’s 7.5K sprints on 5 December. The 12.5K and 10K pursuits will wrap up the program of the Ostersund competitions on 6 December.
