MINSK, 23 November (BelTA) - Six Belarusian biathletes will take part in the first IBU Cup that will kick off the 2016-2017 season on Friday, 25 November, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Biathlon Federation.

Representing Belarus in Norway’s Beitostolen will be Dinara Alimbekova, Maria Panfilova, Darya Blashko, Dmitry Abashev, Viktor Krivko and Dmitry Dyuzhev.

Special focus will be on Darya Blashko, the winner of the 2015-2016 IBU Junior Cup Biathlon standings.

The season will kick off with the men’s and women’s sprints on 25 November.

November 26 will feature two more men’s and women’s sprints. Single mixed relay and mixed relay will take place on 27 November.
