Silver for Belarus at Kunzelsau Wurth Cup 2021

MINSK, 2 November (BelTA) – Belarusian fencer Darya Andreyeva won silver at the 2021 International Competition Kunzelsau Wurth Cup in Germany, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian secured four wins to finish second.

Darya Andreyeva defeated Carina Schmidt of Germany 15-2 in the opener. Then she saw off three more German athletes: Laura Ziob 15-12, Ylvi Schillinger 15-9, and Ann-Sophie Kindler 15-10.

In the final the Belarusian lost to Germany’s Julika Funke 11-15.

The competitions Kunzelsau Wurth Cup 2021 welcomed 30 athletes from Austria, Belarus, Belgium and Germany.
