Shymanovich, Zarazua reach Puerto Vallarta Open final

MINSK, 25 February (BelTA) – Belarus’ Iryna Shymanovich and Renata Zarazua of Mexico have progressed into the final of the ongoing Puerto Vallarta Open seeing off France’s Elixane Lechemia and Anna Siskova of the Czech Republic, 6-2, 3-6, 10-6 in the semifinal, BelTA has learned.

In the final the Belarusian-Mexican duo will take on the Italian tandem of Angelica Moratelli and Camilla Rosatello.

In the quarterfinal Iryna Shymanovich and Renata Zarazua defeated the Russian duo of Irina Khromacheva and Yana Sizikoca in two straight sets, 6-4, 6-4.

In the singles round of Last 16 Iryna Shymanovich lost to Hailey Baptiste of the United States, 0-6, 1-6.
