MINSK, 23 October (BelTA) - Yegor Sharangovich of Belarus has scored his first goal for the Calgary Flames in the 2023/24 National Hockey League season, BelTA has learned.
Yegor Sharangovich scored his first goal for the team late in the second period as the Flames closed out a five-game road trip with a 6-2 loss to the Red Wings on 22 October. The Belarusian spent almost 16 minutes on the ice, producing four shots on goal. In six matches this season Yegor Sharangovich earned two (1-1) points.
The Belarusian joined the Calgary Flames this summer following three seasons with the New Jersey Devils. Yegor Sharangovich’s new team sit 10th in the Eastern Conference with five points. The Calgary Flames will next face the New York Rangers.
