Seating tickets for Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Minsk sold out

MINSK, 8 October (BelTA) – Seating tickets for the main show of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 have been sold out. Tickets are still available for the dance floor and dress rehearsal, BelTA learned from the press service of Belteleradiocompany.

“Seating tickets for the main show of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 have been sold out. Standing tickets are still available for the dance floor and dress rehearsal which will take place on 24 November in the format of the gala concert similar to the main show. It is during this show that the jury evaluates contestants, and the results will be announced during the finale live,” the press service noted.

As it was previously reported, tickets can be purchased online at bycard.by, afisha.tut.by, afisha.relax.by, using mobile applications for Android and iOS at play.google.com and itunes.apple.com, as well as on the official website of the Belarusian TV and Radio Company.

A group of experts supervising the preparations for the show gathered in the President Hotel in Minsk on 8 October. Every stage of the preparations for the contest, from the opening ceremony to the social program for participants, were showcased to professionals from the UK, Germany, Malta, the Netherlands, Italy, Georgia, Russia and also European Broadcasting Union's Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest Jon Ola Sand.

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Minsk Arena on 25 November. The song forum will welcome a record high number of countries (20). The organizer and coordinator of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 is the Belteleradiocompany as the country’s only member in the European Broadcasting Union.

Daniel Yastremsky will represent Belarus at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018. He won the national selection with his act Time. Daniel is 14 years old. He was born in Cincinnati, but lives and studies in Minsk where he attended a music school. The young singer had already taken part in several TV shows and contests, like Ukraine’s Got Talent, New Wave Junior, and participated in the casting for the Voice. Kids show (Russia). Daniel had studied at the Igor Krutoi Academy.
