MINSK, 24 September (BelTA) – Scientists and specialists of the National and Practical Center for Bioresources of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB) have developed a virtual tour across Belarus’ protected areas, BelTA learned from the press service of the NASB.
The purpose of the project is to promote environmental and green tourism in Belarus. The website offering the virtual tour across Belarus’ natural reserves features national parks, wilderness areas, natural monuments as well as tourist infrastructure facilities near such areas (hiking and walking trails, rural tourism estates, camping sites, etc).
This virtual tour contains images of landscapes and panoramic views of protected areas of our country. Potential tourists can choose a place they want to visit from the selection of natural reserves, the press service noted.
The scientists will present this virtual tour project during the Tourbusiness 2018 expo in Minsk on 26-28 September.
