Sasnovich advances to Trophee Clarins round two

MINSK, 16 May (BelTA) – Belarus’ world number 44 Aliaksandra Sasnovich went off to a good start at the Trophee Clarins in Paris, defeating France’s world number 108 Clara Burel, 6-1, 7-5, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian will next take on world number 102 Katie Volynets of the United States for a spot in the quarterfinal.

The tournament in the French capital will be over on 21 May.
