Sabalenka moves to ‘s-Hertogenbosch quartefinal

MINSK, 9 June (BelTA) – Belarus’ world number 6 Aryna Sabalenka secured her second victory at ‘s-Hertogenbosch defeating Arianne Hartono (World No.172) of the Netherlands 6-2, 6-3, BelTA has learned.

In the opener the Belarusian saw off world number 142 Kateryna Baindl of Ukraine, 6-4, 6-1.

Aryna Sabalenka will next play Belgium’s world number 46 Alison Van Uytvanck.

Belarus’ world number 49 Ilya Ivashka reached the ‘s-Hertogenbosch second round defeating world number 51 Mackenzie McDonald of the United States, 6-3, 6-7 (8-10), 6-1. The Belarusian will next face Finland’s world number 62 Emil Ruusuvuori.

The tournament in ‘s-Hertogenbosch will be over on 12 June.
