Sabalenka, Azarenka keep their positions in WTA, Sasnovich goes down one spot

MINSK, 22 September (BelTA) – Belarus’ Aryna Sabalenka remained 12th in the recently published WTA rankings, BelTA has learned.

Aryna Sabalenka did not play next week and still holds 3,615 points. On 21 September she made a good start at France’s Strasbourg, seeing off Australian qualifier Ellen Perez (World No.239) 6-4, 6-3. Belarus’ Victoria Azarenka also kept her position intact after reaching the quarterfinal at the Rome 2020. She holds 3,122 points and 14th position. Aliaksandra Sasnovich went down one spot to 96th with 738 points. Olga Govorstova goes 126th with 570 points. Vera Lapko is 291st with 207 points.
