MINSK, 5 November (BelTA) – Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus goes 11th in the current WTA rankings, BelTA has learned.
Last week the Belarusian was ranked 12th ahead of the 2018 Hengqin Life WTA Elite Trophy Zhuhai. She secured one victory and suffered one defeat at the tournament to climb one spot up with the total of 3,245 points.
Aliaksandra Sasnovich remains 30th with 1,570 points. Victoria Azarenka goes 51st with 1,051 points. Vera Lapko is 65th with 896 points. Lidziya Marozava is 41st in the doubles rankings.
Romania’s Simona Halep tops the WTA chart, with Germany’s Angelique Kerber and Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark going second and third respectively. Winner of the 2018 Hengqin Life WTA Elite Trophy Zhuhai Ashleigh Barty moved up to the 15th spot.
The ATP rankings are topped by Serbia’s Novak Djokovic (8,045 points) and is followed by Spain’s Rafael Nadal (7,480 points) and Roger Federer of Switzerland (6,020 points).
Ilya Ivashka of Belarus goes 88th with 645 points. In the doubles rankings Max Mirnyi is 55th.
