MINSK, 11 May (BelTA) – A robotics and innovation technologies expo Roboticon 2017 will take place in the Minsk Football Indoor Center on 12-13 May, BelTA has learned.
The expo is designed to gather developers and investors, robotic and Internet of Things (IoT) companies, manufacturers of industrial, domestic, and educational robots.
Roboticon 2017 will comprise four sections. The expo will feature brand new R&D products of the leading international and domestic manufacturers of robots, 3D printers by domestic developers.
Experts of the Startup Space section will provide support in marketing, finances, human resources, intellectual property, engineering and programming to the high-tech startups that win a special contest.
During two days the experts will provide maximum effective support to the startups’ ideas and projects and evaluate them. This will help the startups develop competence and adapt them to the real market. The organizers invite startups operating in robotics, additive technologies, Internet of Things and Big Data, digital design and modeling to apply for the contest. Applications for the forum were open through 5 May.
The HARD 2017 conference will become a major event in the IoT sector. The event will gather the leading experts and players of the IoT and robotics industry from the CIS, Europe, and the USA. They will share their vision and experience in the implementation of projects and speak about the latest trends.
A special section will be dedicated to school students. Teachers from leading Russian and Belarusian robotics schools will hold workshops on robot assembly and programming for different age groups. The program features workshops for young developers, educational robotics tournaments, Minsk Robotics Championship Roboticon, and a national technical creativity contest.
The event is organized by the companies Rentalpro, R-NOX, Minsk City Technopark, the business support center Laboratory of Intellect, OO Youth Innovation Center.
