Representatives of Belarus’ Bolshoi Theater honored with state awards
MINSK, 28 January (BelTA) – The representatives of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater of Belarus have been honored with state awards. This information is available at the official website of the organization.
In accordance with Belarus President’s decree No. 32 of 28 January, the People’s Artist of Belarus title has been conferred on chief opera soloist and Honored Artist of Belarus, winner of the state prize Nina Sharubina for the many-year productive work, professional excellence and a big contribution to the development of culture. The Order of Francysk Skaryna has been bestowed upon chief opera soloist and People’s Artist of Belarus Vladimir Petrov, the Medal of Francysk Skaryna – upon chief director of the theater Mikhail Pandzhavidze.
Set decorator Demyan Tolstik has been honored with the Medal for Excellent Labor.
