Raubichi to host FIS Aerials World Cup

MINSK, 27 January (BelTA) – Representatives of 11 countries will take part in the FIS Freestyle Ski Aerials World Cup which is due in the Raubichi Olympic Winter Sports Center on 30 January, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian National Olympic Committee.

Competing in the prestigious international competitions will be athletes from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, the United States, Canada, Japan, the UK, Australia, Germany and Switzerland.

The qualifying and final events will take place on 30 January. Representing Belarus will be this season’s leaders Maksim Hustik, Pavel Dzik, Hanna Huskova, and Alla Tsuper.

Following four World Cup events the men’s rankings are topped by Russia’s Maxim Burov with 400 points. Maksim Hustik of Belarus is fourth with 145 points. The women’s table is topped by Laura Peel of Australia with 290 points. Olympic champion Hanna Huskova goes 10th with 135 points. Olympic champion Alla Tsuper is 11th with 128 points.

The FIS Freestyle Ski Aerials World Cup in Raubichi will be held in accordance with all necessary epidemiological requirements.
