MINSK, 11 September (BelTA) – International Radio Belarus (a structural subdivision of Belteleradiocompany) and China’s Xinhua News Agency signed an agreement on cooperation in Minsk on 11 September, BelTA learned from the Belarusian TV and Radio Company (Belteleradiocompany).
The agreement provides for the exchange of operational information, photo and video materials about events and facts in Russian, English and Chinese. The parties will produce reports and shoot videos in Chinese and Russian about cultural and humanitarian relations between the two countries.
“International Radio Belarus has been broadcasting in Chinese since 2013. Media cooperation in the era of active partnership between China and Belarus is a must. Today we are connected by an even greater number of joint projects,” said Radio Belarus Chief Director Naum Galperovich.
Director of Xinhua’s Asia-Europe Bureau Fan Weiguo stressed that China shows big interest in Belarus and news from Minsk will be in great demand.
