MINSK, 10 November (BelTA) – A fashion show of prestigious Italian brands will take place in Minsk on 12-13 November, BelTA has learned.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Belarus Stefano Bianchi told media on 10 November that Belarus will welcome the Italy Fashion Show for the fifth time. This time Belarus will see collections of apparel and accessories for the 2016 spring-summer season from prestigious Italian brands, which are eager to expand their presence on the Belarusian market.
According to the diplomat, the Italian side sees the potential of the Belarusian market and the ever rising interest of consumers in apparel choice. He noted with satisfaction that Italian products enjoy steadily high demand in Belarus.
The Ambassador said: “The high quality and closest attention to details are the distinguishing traits that make Italian fashion recognizable on the world market. Nowadays in the era of globalization it is easy to make apparel without attaching importance to traditions. But there is one thing that distinguishes Italian apparel and footwear. They are copied all over the world although the industry develops on its own thanks to the creativity, talents and skills of the designers.”
Stefano Bianchi pointed out the fact that the project is not only a show of the best accomplishments of the Italian fashion industry. It is primarily a platform for creating steady ties for sharing experience, transferring know-how and technologies to Belarusian partners.
In turn, Moreno Bordoni, Secretary of the Italian Confederation of Industrial Enterprises in Pesaro and Urbino, noted they were pleased to promote Italian brands in Belarus, “a country that accepted us very well from the very start”. “Belarusians are elegant on their own and we would like to emphasize this elegance, help them look even better, this is why we bring the best quality fashion and novelties here,” he said.
Unlike the previous fashion shows this one will follow the total look concept. Even the minuscule details starting with the hairdo and ending with the footwear will be taken care of. The Belarusian public will be able to see women’s fashion footwear, fur coats, leisure wear, women’s and men’s apparel as well as custom-made men’s clothes. Man will be the focus of attention this time, this is why the product range will be dominated by products for men.
Moreno Bordoni mentioned growing interaction with Belarusian fashion designers. “One can boldly state that today Italian fashion industry gets an impulse, a stimulus from the Belarusian one,” he said.
The fashion show will be arranged with assistance of the Embassy of Italy in Belarus. The event will take place in the Prime Hall concert hall in Minsk. The partners are the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the cities of Pesaro and Urbino (Marche Region) and the Italian Confederation of Industrial Enterprises in Pesaro and Urbino.
Apart from demonstrating Italian fashions the event will include meetings of Italian manufacturers and Belarusian distributors and a master class about the next year’s Italian fashion trends for the sake of sharing the best practices and state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies.
