MINSK, 11 May (BelTA) – The Chinese traditional medicine center can be set up in Belarus. The intention to work on the corresponding issue was laid down in the joint declaration Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and China President Xi Jinping signed after the official talks on 10 May, BelTA has learned.
The document also says that the parties support the research aimed at the popularization of the culture and customs of the two countries.
The parties expressed support to the setting up of the Chinese cultural center in Belarus. The two parties will also consider the possibility for the development of the Silk Road Academy in Belarus, the Belarusian-Chinese Analytical Center of Development and other educational establishments for representatives of the government bodies of Belarus and the bordering countries.
China intends to continue providing the China Government scholarships to the best students from Belarus, support the Chinese language teaching in Belarus and the activity of the Confucius institutes.
