MINSK, 3 July (BelTA) – A photo exhibition opened in Tokyo on 3 July to mark 25 years of friendship and cooperation between Belarus and Japan within the framework of the celebration of Belarus’ Independence Day, representatives of the Embassy of Belarus in Japan told BelTA.
The exhibition has been prepared by the embassy of Belarus together with BelTA and Belarusian compatriots. The exhibition reflects the timeline of Belarus-Japan cooperation in the 1990-2010s.
The exhibition is focused on the advancement of the political dialogue between Minsk and Tokyo, on economic and interregional cooperation, on implementing joint cultural and educational projects as well as interaction aimed at minimizing consequences of the disasters at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and the Fukushima nuclear power plant.
