GRODNO, 3 June (BelTA) – The Journey to Palestine exhibition will open at the Grodno State Museum of the History of Religion on 5 June, BelTA learned from the museum.
The exposition will feature about 70 exhibits that represent the traditional folk crafts of Palestine: embroidery, pottery, olive wood carving and Mother-of-Pearl carving. Models of mosques and paintings of colored sand, men's and women's clothing will be also on display.
The exhibition was arranged by the Palestine Embassy in Belarus. For the first time the Embassy held this exhibition in Minsk to mark the Day of Palestinian Culture.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition in Grodno will be attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Palestine to Belarus Mr Khaled Arikat and his family.
The exhibition in Grodno will stay open for a month.
