MINSK, 12 August (BelTA) – Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif, his spouse and son visited the Ozerny residence of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko in Minsk District on 12 August, BelTA learned from Natalia Eismont, Press Secretary of the Belarusian head of state.
According to the source, the meeting proceeded in a truly homely atmosphere. “The guests were able to experience first-hand the Belarusian nature, tasty cuisine, and hospitality they had heard so much about,” noted Natalia Eismont.
The Belarusian head of state together with his younger son Nikolai showed the guests around the residence. Among other places the guests went to a spring well where Nawaz Sharif and members of his family tasted pure water that boasts unique qualities.
During an open-collar breakfast the Belarus president and the Pakistan Prime Minister talked for an hour.
Alexander Lukashenko and Nawaz Sharif exchanged gifts. In particular, the guests left with genuine Belarusian food, beverages, sweets, linen products, commemorative coins released by the National Bank, and most vivid impressions about the hospitable country of Belarus.
