Over 71,800 coronavirus tests done in Belarus

MINSK, 14 April (BelTA) – As of 14 April, Belarus carried out 71,875 coronavirus tests, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.

Seventeen laboratories are involved in testing. According to the latest data, 3,281 people have tested positive for coronavirus in Belarus. “Of them 2,444 have been hospitalized. The rest are showing mild or moderate symptoms. They are being treated on an outpatient basis,” the press service said.

According to the Healthcare Ministry, 57 patients currently require assisted ventilation. Thirty-three coronavirus patients with chronic diseases died.
