Over 64,000 COVID-19 tests performed in Belarus

MINSK, 13 April (BelTA) – As of 12 April, Belarus performed more than 64,000 coronavirus tests, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.

Seventeen laboratories are involved in testing in Belarus.

According to the latest data, 2,578 people have tested positive for coronavirus in Belarus. The majority of patients have mild or moderate symptoms. Fifty patients require assisted ventilation.  After treatment, 203 people recovered and were discharged from hospitals. Twenty-six coronavirus patients with chronic diseases died.
