Those were tourists from Azerbaijan, England, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Vietnam, Germany, Hong Kong, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Ireland, China, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Latvia, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, Portugal, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, USA, Tajikistan, Ukraine, France, Sweden, and Japan," Yelena Semashko said.
According to her, the number of foreign visitors has increased considerably over this period. “We see a genuine interest of foreign visitors in the museum’s exposition. Our largest hall, The Road of War, is particularly impressive. It presents samples of weapons and equipment from the Great Patriotic War period. Foreign visitors also spend a lot of time in the halls dedicated to the partisan movement and the anti-fascist underground. They study self-made partisan weapons and make a lot of photos near the installations. We are also happy to see tourists’ impressions of the Victory Hall that symbolically completes the exposition, combining fame and memory of the heroism of our people,” Yelena Semashko said.
