MINSK, 10 August (BelTA) – Belarusian canoe sprinter Uladzislau Kravets finished one step from the podium in the Men’s K-1 1000m at the 2024 Paris Olympics, BelTA has learned.
The final featured eight athletes. The Belarusian competed against Hungary, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Portugal, Germany and Argentina. Uladzislau Kravets clocked 3:28.10 to finish fourth, 2.5 seconds away from the bronze place.
The Olympic champion title went to Jozef Dostal of the Czech Republic. Adam Varga of Hungary claimed silver, with bronze collected by fellow Hungarian Balint Kopasz.
