MINSK, 5 January (BelTA) – Teachers and students of Ostroshitsky Gorodok secondary school, which the Belarus President’s youngest son Nikolai Lukashenko attends, have visited an elderly care home in Minsk to wish Happy New Year, BelTA has learned.
The school has been taking care of the elderly care home for more than two years. This time students and their teachers were welcomed like old friends. The school students showed a Madagascar performance based on the same-name cartoon.
To give delicious gifts for the festive table has become another good tradition. This year the Minsk elderly care home got dairy products from the farm of the head of state.
Students are frequent guests at the elderly care home in Vaupshasova Street. They often come to visit, take part in clean-up campaigns, bring treats and stay to have a cup of tea with the residents of the home.
