MINSK, 18 May (BelTA) - New Belarusian books are on display at the Warsaw Book Fair which opened in the capital of Poland on 17 May, BelTA learned form the Information Ministry of Belarus.
Visitors have the opportunity to get acquainted with the best book samples of all thematic areas. In addition, the exposition features the the books by Polish authors published in Belarus.
The Belarusian stand was unveiled following the opening ceremony of the Warsaw Book Fair. The ceremony was attended by Ilona Yurevich, the head of the Belarus Cultural Center of Belarus at the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Poland.
The events also included the presentation of the book of Yanka Kupala's poem “And, Say, Who Goes There?” and the book by Nikolai Malyavko “The Heritage”.
Over 800 exhibitors from 32 countries are participating in the Warsaw Book Forum which will stay open until 21 May.
