Nearly 68,000 coronavirus tests done in Belarus

MINSK, 13 April (BelTA) – As of 13 April, Belarus carried out nearly 68,000 coronavirus tests. Seventeen laboratories are involved in testing, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Healthcare Ministry.

According to the latest data, 2,919 people have tested positive for coronavirus in Belarus. The majority of patients have mild or moderate symptoms. Fifty five patients need assisted ventilation. 

After treatment, 203 people have recovered and have been discharged from hospital.

Twenty-nine coronavirus patients with chronic diseases died.
