MINSK, 26 June (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 255 on 26 June to put the names of winners of the 2017 contest on the National Honor Roll, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
The National Honor Roll features 64 regions and organizations of all forms of ownership.
Among the names that will appear on the National Honor Roll are Minsk Oblast and Minsk City, Ostrovets District of Grodno Oblast, Glubokoye District of Vitebsk Oblast, Grodno and Zhodino. They are among 44 best achievers in economic and social field.
The 20 winners in the resource saving category include Minsk Oblast, Cherven District of Minsk Oblast, Narovlya District of Gomel Oblast and Frunzensky District of Minsk.
The appearance on the National Honor Roll is public recognition of individuals and companies that made a substantial contribution to social and economic development of the country.
