MINSK, 3 July (BelTA) – The Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War has presented its new project, a mobile exposition titled as Belarus’ Liberation. September 1943-July 1944 in Minsk, BelTA has learned.
The project was implemented in cooperation with the Chinese embassy in Belarus. Its major goal is to make the museum more available to people from far corners of Belarus.
The mobile exposition is a movable semitrailer with the total area of 30 square meters.
The exposition is divided into four sections. The first and second parts tell about the opening stage in the liberation of the country and the Belarusian strategic offensive operation Bagration.
The third section is dedicated to one of the parts of the Bagration operation, i.e. cooperation of the Red Army units with partisan groups.
The partisan parade that took place in the liberated Minsk on 16 July is the theme of the fourth section.
Photo and document materials from the museum funds have been added with maps, posters, newspapers, leaflets, personal things of the participants of Belarus’ liberation.
