MINSK, 6 January (BelTA) – The Days of Belarusian Science will take place in Moscow in June 2017, Chairman of the State Science and Technology Committee Alexander Shumilin said during the presentation of the Year of Science in Belarus on 6 January, BelTA has learned.

“Moscow is expected to host the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia in June. It will focus on innovative activities and cooperation in science and technology. The Days of Belarusian Science will take place in Moscow during the forum,” Alexander Shumilin said.

In his words, in the Year of Science Belarus will present its scientific achievements at international expos. In particular, Belarusian energy and green economy projects will be displayed at EXPO 2017 in Astana.

“We will also take part in the expo and conference in the USA for the first time. It will take place in Miami on 12-13 June. This is a landmark event because we will present our projects on the U.S. market for the first time after a long break,” the chairman of the State Science and Technology Committee said. Belarus will also take part in the medical expo in Dubai on 2 February.
