MINSK, 18 October (BelTA) - Constantin Moscovici, soloist of the Sergey Lunkevich National Philharmonic of the Republic of Moldova, has been awarded Francysk Skaryna medal in recognition of his significant contribution to the strengthening and development of Belarusian-Moldovan cultural ties. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko signed a corresponding decree on 18 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the head of state.
Constantin Moscovici plays Nai (pan flute). In 2005, he organized the music festival “Songs of the World” in the city of Comrat. Since 2006, the festival has been held in Chisinau.
Constantin Moscovici is well-known to Belarusians as a participant of the Slavianski Bazaar and Golden Hit festivals. The soloist of the Moldova Philharmonic is an official representative of the Slavianski Bazaar festival in Moldova and Romania.
Constantin Moscovici’s tune is a visiting card of Chisinau International Airport.
