MOGILEV, 6 April (BelTA) – From 7 to 9 April Mogilev will be hosting Days of Lithuanian Culture, BelTA learned from the Mogilev regional methodical center for folk arts and enlightenment.
A delegation from Lithuania will visit Mogilev to take part in the celebrations. They will hold an exhibition of photographs and works of applied arts Lithuanian Gift at the Mogilev History Museum. On 8 April the Mogilev concert hall will host a concert of the Lithuanian academic choir AVE VITA that will present the national costumes of Lithuania. Besides, Lithuanian craftsmen will give workshops on pottery, papercutting, and Easter egg painting and decorating.
“The Days of Lithuanian Culture will promote mutual enrichment of our cultures and allow local artists to develop their professional skills,” the center said.
The campaign has been organized within the framework of a bilateral agreement on cultural cooperation signed by the Mogilev regional methodical center for folk arts and enlightenment and the Lithuanian Folk Culture Center in Vilnius.
